We care deeply about how are products are made, and the real impact they have on the environment. That's why each of our straws is handmade, by ethically-paid bamboo farmers and crafters. For greater environmental impact, we also plant 1 tree with every StrawSave purchase, in partnership with nonprofit group OneTreePlanted.
Single use plastic straws are decimating our oceans and killing marine life. Our products are focused on eco-friendly alternatives to single-use plastics, making a real impact on the 500 million straws that are polluted every single day. In addition, we've partnered with non-profit organization OneTreePlanted, and have committed to planting one tree for every Straw Save purchase.
Most reusable straws today are made in large factories that emit considerable amounts of greenhouse gas during production. Our straws are hand-made by local villagers in a remote part of Java, Indonesia. For these villagers, bamboo farming and straw crafting is an essential source of income for them and their families.
We've partnered with OneTreePlanted, a non-profit organization focused on global reforestation, and we've committed to plant one tree for each Straw Save purchase.
Every step of how we produce our straws is done by hand. From the bamboo farming, cutting, cleaning, crafting, and packing, we work with local Indonesian villagers to produce the most authentic & highest quality bamboo straws available today.
To put an end to the 500 million plastic straws polluted every single day. We provide eco-friendly, ethically made, reusable straws, to help individuals make a difference in the fight against pollution.
Bamboo is naturally biodegradable, anti-fungal, and organic. It requires little to no water to grow, and grows at a rate of up to 3ft per day. Bamboo generates more oxygen and consumes more C02 than almost any other plant, making it one of the best fighters of global warming/greenhouse gas.
